Flaming Pie

My latest work, ‘Flaming Pie’ explores the idea of photography as a substitute for memory. Showcasing photographic work from one family spanning nearly a hundred years, from the 1930s to 2024, this publication serves to remind the viewer of the fragility of the human memory and to consider image making as a mode of time travel. In exhibition, the publication will take the form of a fabric-cover hardback atop an assortment of saved newspaper pages on a small table alongside a comfortable chair that viewers are invited to sit in while they read.
